Die Kirchweih in Petersgmünd

Die Petersgmünder Kirchweih wird traditionell am ersten Sonntag nach dem Gedenktag des hl. Veit (lat. Vitus) gefeiert, also jeweils nach dem 15. Juni. Eine Kopie der Urkunde aus dem Jahr 1531 hängt in der Sakristei der Kirche St. Peter und besagt: "Item auf sollicherkirchweyhe zu Pettersgemundt...und wurdet die kirchweihe alle jar gehalten am Sonntag nach SanctVeyts tag."
